What is ContactTheBusiness?
ContactTheBusiness is a business discovery platform. Business owners can create public business pages with approved videos, photos, business details, contact options, and other useful information. Visitors can search, understand the business faster, and contact the business when they are interested.
Is ContactTheBusiness a movie, streaming, or download website?
No. ContactTheBusiness is not a movie, entertainment, or file-download website. It is for real business pages. Business owners upload their own business media so visitors can understand what the business offers.
Does ContactTheBusiness create or edit videos for me?
No. ContactTheBusiness does not film, edit, or produce videos for business owners. You upload your own finished video. A smartphone video is fine if the picture is clear and the business is easy to understand.
Can customers contact me from my ContactTheBusiness page?
Yes, depending on your plan and approved settings. Pro can let customers call, email, request a callback, visit your website, book, ask for a price, view a menu, order online, reserve a table, view products, view events, get tickets, and more.
Free and Pro
Can I add my business for free?
Yes. You can add your business on the Free plan. Free gives you a starting public business page after ContactTheBusiness reviews and approves it.
What does Free include?
Free includes a public business page after approval, 1 short video up to 1 minute, up to 3 photos, up to 5 search words, and basic business details.
What does Pro include?
Pro includes 2 longer videos up to 5 minutes each, up to 15 photos, up to 15 search words, customer contact choices, social media links, visitor activity details, business banners, and the ability to reply to customer reviews.
How much is Pro?
The public Pro price is shown on the pricing page as €20 per month. PayPal shows the final payable amount before the payment is completed.
Can I upgrade from Free to Pro later?
Yes. You can start with Free and upgrade to Pro from your dashboard when you want more media, more contact options, visitor activity details, business banners, and review replies.
Does Pro guarantee customers or sales?
No. Pro gives your business more space and more tools on ContactTheBusiness. It does not guarantee customers, sales, calls, bookings, enquiries, or search results.
Review and uploads
When does my business page go public?
Your business page goes public only after ContactTheBusiness reviews and approves it. Registration creates the account and business record, but public display still needs review.
Do changes go live immediately?
Some simple removals may update quickly, but new or changed public content normally needs review first. This can include business details, photos, videos, logos, banners, social links, and other public-facing changes.
What happens if my video, photo, logo, or banner is rejected?
Rejected media does not count against your plan limit. You can remove the rejected item and upload a better version. Rejected media may be automatically removed after a short time to save storage.
Can ContactTheBusiness reject my business?
Yes. ContactTheBusiness can reject a business or ask for corrections if the listing does not meet platform standards, is unclear, misleading, unsafe, inappropriate, or does not look like a real business listing.
What video should I upload?
Upload a clear video that helps people understand the business. Show the place, products, services, rooms, food, work, team, or customer experience. Good light and clear sound help, but a normal smartphone video can be enough.
Can I upload vertical videos?
Yes, but landscape video is usually better because it fits public business pages more naturally. Use whichever format shows your business clearly.
Billing and invoices
How does PayPal billing work?
Pro subscriptions are paid through PayPal checkout from the billing area. ContactTheBusiness does not ask you to enter card details directly on the ContactTheBusiness website.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes. If you cancel, future billing stops. Your paid Pro access remains active until the end of the current paid billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Normal mid-period Pro cancellation is not refunded. Cancellation stops future billing, and your current paid period remains active until it ends. Payment reversals or PayPal-side payment issues are handled as exceptional billing cases.
Can I request an invoice?
Yes. You can request an invoice-style email from the billing dashboard. It is sent to your registered business email. PDF download is not currently offered.
What email is used for business billing support?
Registered business-client billing and invoice communication should use businesscontact@contactthebusiness.com. General public contact should use contact@contactthebusiness.com.
Account and dashboard
Can I edit my business details later?
Yes. You can edit business details, photos, videos, search words, social media links, contact choices, banners, and other business information from your dashboard. Public changes may need review before visitors see them.
Can I change the way customers contact me?
Yes, on Pro you can choose one main customer contact option, such as call, email, booking, website, quote request, menu, order online, product page, event page, tickets, and more.
Can my team share one login?
Use one account carefully. We recommend that only the business owner or a trusted person manages the dashboard. Do not share login details widely.
Which categories are available?
Choose the closest category when adding your business. ContactTheBusiness supports many industries such as restaurants, cafés, hotels, construction, education, health, retail, professional services, manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, and more.
How can I make my business page better?
Use clear search words, upload real photos, add a helpful video, keep your business details updated, and make it easy for customers to contact you.
Trust and rules
Does ContactTheBusiness certify businesses?
No. ContactTheBusiness reviews public content for platform standards, but it does not legally certify, audit, inspect, or guarantee listed businesses.
Who owns the content I upload?
You keep ownership of your own content. By uploading it, you give ContactTheBusiness permission to host and show it on the platform according to the Terms.
Can I upload anything I find online?
No. Only upload content you own or have permission to use. Do not upload copyrighted photos, videos, logos, music, or text unless you have the right to use them.
How do I report a listing or copyright problem?
Contact ContactTheBusiness with the page link, the reason, and any evidence. For copyright matters, use the Data Copyright page where appropriate. ContactTheBusiness will review the issue under its rules and policies.
Do you sell my business data?
No. ContactTheBusiness does not sell business data to third parties. Public business information may be shown on your public business page because that is the purpose of the listing.
Do you use cookies?
ContactTheBusiness uses necessary cookies and may use analytics cookies as explained in the Privacy Policy. Where required, you can manage choices through the cookie banner.
